Faith in a Changing Climate Book

We are releasing chapters of the book Faith in a Changing Climate. Chapter 1 ― An Age of Limits ― is here.

Here are the Table of Contents and the book’s Preface.

Humanity has entered an Age of Limits. Infinite material progress on a finite planet never did make sense, and now we are running out of road. We face converging crises of resource depletion, climate change, and ecological collapse.

Overview

Book: Faith in a Changing Climate

This book offers a faith-driven response. Written by a chemical engineer and a person of faith, it explains why technological fixes alone fall short. Our secular leaders have failed to provide leadership ― the faith community now has an opportunity to fill that gap building on a spiritual foundation, community, and social justice.

The message of this book is built around three theological guidelines: (1) Understand physical realities, (2) Accept and adapt, and (3) Live within Gaia. Together, they point toward a new City of God.

Drawing on biblical wisdom, scientific understanding, and engineering realities, Faith in a Changing Climate urges people of faith to lead with humility and courage, offering a moral compass as secular institutions falter.
