About E.D. Lewis & Associates, Richmond-area engineers since 1972

Rooted here. Built to last.

Three generations of the Lewis family have run this firm since 1972.

Why the continuity matters to you

The firm was founded in 1972 and identifies itself as family-run. For clients, the useful question is whether the team has the relevant experience for the site, service and jurisdiction at hand.

Planning and engineering requirements change by locality and project. The team can discuss the information that should be gathered before a plan is prepared or a survey is commissioned.

Four of the firm’s engineers are licensed Professional Engineers: Edmund D. Lewis Jr., James H. Lewis, Ross Lewis and Mark Lewis.

A well-defined scope and clear communication help a project team make informed decisions as it moves through planning, engineering and surveying work.
